Three Tibetan Buddhist Healing Empowerments in the Great Perfection Lineage of Guru
Padmasambhava
Given by His Holiness Orgyen Kusum Lingpa, from his rare and powerful treasure lineage,
the "Dzogchen Pema Nyingtik".

Hosted by "Shar Chog Ngon Gai Ling", a spiritual fellowship dedicated to the teachings
of the Nyingma Tibetan School and HH Orgyen Kusum Lingpa.
Join us for this exceptional visit by a major lineage holder of the innermost esoteric
yoga of Primordial Awareness ( Tibetan: Dzogchen Nyingtik ).
Each of these three transmissions can be of extraordinary value in transforming
consciousness, developing inner guidance, developing authentic inner spiritual life,
and most especially learning the classical Buddhist deity yogas of healing.
The classical meaning of tantric Buddhist empowerment ( Sanskrit: abhisekha ) includes
not only authorization to engage esoteric yogas, but also ( Sanskrit : abhisinca
) the cleansing or washing away of psychological distress, physical sickness,and
negative karma.
Although no claim can be made regarding any western clinical condition, this "healing
power of transmission" can definitely be felt by those already attuned to the tantric
transmissions, particularly when bestowed as a major empowerment by a high lineage
holder.
His Holiness has had a tremendous impact throughout North America for quite a few
years. He has repeatedly bestowed many ultimate transmissions again and again, particularly
throughout the American West Coast.
This event is intended to be the first in a series of tantric Buddhist teachings
and events sponsored in the Seattle area by "Shar Chog Ngon Gai Ling".

Day One, Friday 16 Mar 2007
"Medicine Buddha / Padmasambhava Empowerment and Teaching"
 Empowerment and teachings for the Medicine Buddha and his retinue of seven Tathagatas.
This is based on the sacred revelations ( gongter ) of His Holiness concerning the
Healing Buddha emanation of Padmasambhava ( Tibetan: Orgyen Menla )
.
The practice of Great Guru Padmasambhava is especially effective during this time
of pollution, social upheaval and severe conflict.
The transmission of Guru Padma serves as a most direct way to connect with many
profound yogas, including the Ati Yoga /Great Perfection ( i.e. Dzogchen ) which
is manifesting with astonishing power everywhere. An example is the deity yoga of
Vajrasattva, which is central to all esoteric Buddhist practice.
The classical Mahayana teaching of Guru Medicine Buddha taught by Guru Sakyamuni
spread throughout Asia, but only the Indo-Tibetan lineages of Buddhism fully carried
the inner medical sciences of Hindu-Buddhist Ayurveda, which is truly profound and
ultimately valuable.
Among all transmissions of deity yoga and healing, this is an extraordinary and
wonderful sacred occasion because Guru Padmasambhava is revered by millions worldwide
as the embodied essence of a vast ocean of spiritual powers.

"The Twenty One Taras Empowerment and Teaching"
 Time: empowerment at 10 am, teachings at 2pm

Empowerment and teachings of the Twenty One Taras.
There are a vast number of Tara practices for developing spiritual wisdom, compassion,
and power, accomplishing the sacred circle activities of magical deeds, and meeting
many kinds of life challenges through spiritual practice.
Many of these become immediately authorized by receiving this empowerment, including
a great many translated Tara ritual texts of deity yoga and magical power.
Day Three, Sunday 18 Mar 2007
"Longevity Deities Empowerment ( Amitayus, Ushnishavijaya and White Tara ) and Teaching:
Aspirations for Rebirth in Sukhavati ( the Land of Ultimate Bliss )"
 Time: empowerment at 10 am, teachings at 2pm

The Deities of Long Life are Amitayus ( Lord of Infinite Life, a manifestation of
Amitabha Buddha ), Ushnishavijaya ( the Goddess Victorious Crown Knot Tara ) and
Goddess White Tara.
This combined practice is considered by Buddhists to be especially effective in
purifying the sources of sickness, physical degeneration, psychic distress and dangerous
circumstances.
A major aspect of these practices is the development of spiritual energy which manifests
as greater physical life force to meet various life challenges.
Sukhavati is the Buddhist "pure land" ( heavenly realm ) established by Buddha Amitabha
which is beyond any and all sufferings of cyclic existence. It is also the nearest
and most accessible Pure Land.
Most Buddhists worldwide either rely on Amitabha Buddha to be reborn in this Land
of Ultimate Bliss, or dedicate their various practices to this end. Over seven million
practitioners have achieved rebirth in the Pure Land of Sukhavati.
The Method of Amitabha Buddha was first taught by Guru Sakyamuni Buddha and became
central to Mahayana ( Universal ) Buddhism throughout Asia. While these three Long
Life Deities are honored throughout the Buddhist world, the transmission to be given
is of the inner esoteric practice of Tantra.
