In a year in which Seattle has been blessed with auspicious visits from many spiritual teachers from Tibet, including H.H the Dalai Lama and H.H the 17th Karmapa, among others, H.H Orgyen Kusum Lingpa will offer an unprecedented teaching pathway into the wisdom of meditation and some advanced Buddhist teachings on the direct realization of awareness. If you want to water the "Seeds of Compassion", join us for these three days and open your heart to its true nature.

Through the three day event, His Holiness, a visionary master in the Dzogchen Pema Nyingthik tradition, will offer an extraordinary opportunity for healing and transformation of authentic inner spiritual life by offering a series of empowerments, oral transmissions, and commentary in some of the most important teachings for inner liberation, The Great Perfection of unbounded awareness, known as Dzogchen.

The Viet Nam Temple, a Buddhist place of sanctuary, is located in the heart of the Seattle metropolitan area, and is greatly honored to be hosting His Holiness during his stay in Seattle.  The Temple also recently displayed for all to view, the relics of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and enlightened Buddhist Masters of past 2,500 years.  Relics are beautiful pearl-like crystals, found among the cremation ashes of Buddhist Masters.

His Holiness Orgyen Kusum Lingpa is the “Modern day living Relic” from Tibet, and is also a great Maha Siddha.  His Holiness is widely known in Tibet and around the World as a Terton, or Treasure Revealer of the highest Tantric teachings in Vajrayana.

H.H serves as a powerful Spiritual Guide, for practitioners who are fortunate enough to meet him. With his exceptional enlightened qualities, he is often considered a ‘crazy wisdom yogi’ .  H.H’s spiritual attainment, supreme wisdom, and unconditional compassion represent the Enlightened Form, Speech and Mind of all the Victorious Ones.

Empowerment & Teaching:  "VAJRADHARA
& THE 84 MAHASIDDHAS"

Vajradhara is the primordial Buddha, who is considered the Father of all the Buddhas and the revealer of all the classes of Tantra and Secret Mantras. He nurtures and ripens the enlightened qualities within all sentient beings.

The 84 Maha Siddhas
(Greatly Accomplished Ones) possessed powerful 'magical' skills that they had attained during their path toward Realization. Rather than following the conventional path of a monk  these eighty men and four women followed the great path of the Tantric yogi/magician, in order to attain Liberation in one lifetime.

The blessings of these Deities are vast, ensuring success in business, and providing the circumstances for food, clothing and other necessities. This is an excellent practice during these economic hard times to attract mundane wealth and achieve success towards enlightenment.

Vajrayogini is the female form of an enlightened Buddha, the one who brings all actions to miraculous fruition. She embodies the wisdom energy of fearlessness that transforms worldly passions into luminous awareness. Vajrayogini frees her devotees from petty emotions and daily preoccupations that prevent us from reaching enlightenment.

The Second Dalai Lama wrote, “Through practice of this supreme path, the wisdom of blissful emptiness automatically arises and one attains enlightenment in this very lifetime, or at least in the Bardo; …or in the Pure Land of the Dakinis.”

Empowerment & Teaching:  "MANDALA
of the FIVE BUDDHA FAMILIES"

Sunday, October 26th  10 - 12 PM

The Buddha families are traditionally displayed as the Mandala of the Five Buddhas. The Mandala or ‘circle’ aids meditators in understanding how different aspects of existence operate together as an integrated whole.

Each of the Buddhas in the Mandala is associated with both a neurotic and an enlightened state of mind. The mind expression of any Buddha family can be trans-muted into its wisdom or enlightened aspect. Direct relationship of these five energies is the basis for Buddhist Tantric practice.
